QCWA CALOUNDRA BRANCH

Welcome to Caloundra Branch

Friendship • Education • Connection • Advocacy

The Caloundra Branch of the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) is a vibrant and welcoming group of women who are passionate about strengthening their community, supporting one another, and creating opportunities for learning, service, and friendship.

Empowering women through education and health is a core focus of the QCWA, and it’s one of the many reasons women from all walks of life choose to join us. Whether you live locally or further afield, there’s a place for you here—through meaningful activities, shared purpose, and new friendships.

Founded in 1937, when Caloundra was a small coastal village, our branch has grown with the town while maintaining a strong sense of tradition and community..

Our Regular Activities Include:

Craft, Cuppa, Chat and Cards – held every Wednesday at 9:30am at the hall (except the last Wednesday of the month)

SconeTime – on the last Wednesday of each month

Sewing Group – meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 12:15pm. This is a casual sewing session (not a class), but friendly help is available.

Community Involvement:

Bursaries to students at Caloundra State High School

Library book donations to local primary schools to remember Anzac Day

In-kind contributions to Wishlist and Sunshine Coast University Hospital (handmade by our craft ladies)

Disaster relief support

Food assistance to Rosies

Support to Caloundra Community Kindergarten

Volunteer at monthly Sconetime in our hall.
