Connecting and inspiring for nearly 100 yearsIn 1922, Ruth Fairfax was appointed founding President of The Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA). Formed on values of enabling the women of Queensland to come together to support communities, while celebrating their interests and forging friendships in a respectful and caring environment; the QCWA has been a beacon of connection, friendship and engagement for more than 100 years.
