Patching it together

The QCWA Patch-workers group aims to promote friendship, skill sharing and learning among members. If you have never tried it, patchwork is a great way to test your needlework and improve your skills.

State Patchworkers do not schedule any competitions during the year. They have a “Viewer’s Choice Challenge” each year which is voted on at State Conference.

The challenge for 2023 is a Premmie Baby Quilt, 24 inches square, backed with flannelette, no wadding, self-binding recommended but not essential. These will be donated to Toowoomba Hospital unless you request to have your quilt returned to you. Please send your entries to Trish Jacobson at 44 Douglas Street, Blackbutt  Qld 4314, before 13 October 2023.

We will have an Art Union again this year as this is our fundraiser for the year, we are looking forward to your support.
