why join the qcwa? |
Here's why women join QCWAEmpowering women through education and health is a priority for the QCWA and it drives many of the reasons women from all walks of life join us. Since 1922, across Queensland's cities, regional and remote communities women have been joining QCWA. For some it is in interest in making new connections and friends, knowledge sharing and learning new skills, or influencing the unique needs of their local community and ultimately, improving the lives of women and families. With over three thousand members and 220 branches, the QCWA has a membership type to suit you. |
These are some of the reasons women join QCWA“ I joined the QCWA to engage with the community and make new friends.” Colleen Heldt, Daybora Branch Member and Ekka Convenor. “I am certain, those who join, will discover a delightful bounty of knowledge and make connections with individuals who can impact lives in a very meaningful way,” Erika La Budda, Supporter Member and Country Kitchens Facilitator.
